My Eager Helper

There is such joy in a mother’s heart when the fruit of her labors begin to show themself in their children’s actions. Jacob happily helps me make his bed each morning, and is always ready to help when I am getting the little one’s dressed in the morning. If he sees me looking around for something he will ask,”What do you need?” He is often offering to run and get something for me, and if he hears me drop something, he will run to pick it up. He is excellent about picking up his playthings and putting them in their proper places. It makes a mother’s heart happy to have such an eager little helper!
