Preparing a Thanksiving Feast

My favorite part of Thanksgiving is spending the day cooking together as a family. I always enjoy working together, and the children love feeling like they had a hand in preparing the meal!

Nothing's better than a made from scratch pie!

Daddy takes on the task of making the turkey. This year he made a delicious rub with butter as the base. The turkey stayed so moist and was absolutely delicious!

The boys were so excited and anxious for the food to be ready!

Joshua may have been a little *too* excited, LOL. He couldn't even wait for the food to cook before sneaking a little taste!

Harvest Blessings!,

  1. You're apron is really pretty, do you mind sharing where you got it? Or did you make it?

  2. Thank you! No, I didn't make this apron, it was purchased at Target. I was so excited to find it because I just love anything pink and girly! :)

  3. Is he eating that raw sweet potato? How do you ever stop laughing around your house?

  4. Yes, he picked it up and just started taking bites out of it! *Sigh* Joshua does keep us laughing, that is for sure!
