I Am Thankful For...

I am so thankful for my family and for my home! I am so thankful for all of the many ways that God has blessed us!

I'm certain that if he could talk, Jamie would tell us that he is thankful for his brothers. I am so thankful for my precious little one. He is such a gift from God, and I am so blessed to have him in my family!

I am so thankful for my wonderful husband! He does an amazing job of providing for us and taking care of us. He is more than just a great provider and protector, he leads our family in a way that makes us all feel loved and highly valued. He is always there when I need a laugh, and he helps me to think through things when I am overtired and just can't figure something out. He is more than my husband, he is my best friend!

I am so thankful for the kind of father he is for our children. I am so grateful that they have a Daddy who is so involved in everything that they do, and who really takes the time and effort to pay attention to the "little things" that make them feel so special. I am thankful for the example that he sets for them.

Joshua is thankful for Christmas dishes and Christmas spoons, and his "nap", and food...I am so thankful for my little Bear and his perpetually sticky hands. I am thankful for the simple way he thinks about things, and how easy it is to make him smile. I am thankful for the way he is so gentle with his younger brothers, yet so unbelievably rambunctious. I am thankful for the way he is 100% BOY, which I believe means he is comprised of 90% dirt and 10% something sticky to hold the dirt together.

Jacob is thankful for cranberry sauce and PIE, lol. He said he is also thankful for his family but he really likes pie. Jacob is also thankful for kindergarten. (I LOVE this boy!!!!) I am so thankful for my Jacob. (not "Jake", he's JACOB, lol) I am so thankful for the way he wants to be my little sidekick throughout the day. I am so thankful for his eagerness to earn, and his willigness to help around the house. My heart leaps with joy when I see him showing one of "the brothers" how to do something.

I am so thankful for my little Joe. Sure, he can be a handful, but he is also a heart-full! His stubborness can drive me a bit bonkers at times, but he is also the kind of child that loves with his whole heart! He looks at me in a way that makes me feel like I can do no wrong- at least in his eyes.

Let's feast!

Blessings,
