With all the excitement over the fireman hats, the boys have a sudden interest in all sorts of hats. They have found endless entertainment from wearing the different hats that they have found and pretending to be everything from farmers to baseball players to puppy dogs in hats, bears in hats, policemen in hats, train drivers, and many, many others. Joshua's favorite is a ridiculous looking circus hat. The funniest part is that he has no idea that it is ridiculous. He wears it with such seriousness and a look of intense concentration. Could anything be cuter? Jacob is rather fond of his John Deere hat (which both he and Joshua are getting too big for, it must be time for a bigger hat :)) Joshua has sweetly tried to share his many hats with baby Joe, gently attempting to put them on his head. We have had much fun with hats!

The "Bear". Energetic, rambunctious, and full of all things "boy", Joshua is our little wild bear! He is also one of the sweetest people that I have ever met. Full of hugs and kisses, it is amazing to see the contrast between his rough and tumble ways and his gentle kindness.
Joseph
Joseph is such a joy! His smile lights up the room, and his playful expressions can't help but be endearing. He finds humor in nearly everything. He looks up to his older brothers and tries to keep up with them at every turn.

John David
Our newest little addition, John David is such a blessing! He already looks up to his brothers, and seems to be in a hurry to join in their fun. We love him so much, and thank God for sending this darling child into our lives!
My boys all love hats, too. We have the same John Deere one, judging from the back. Cat hats, a duck hat and chicken hat both with dangly legs. All kinds of hats. We have a boxful for the boys. Any time we have company, they all play with them.
