A New Hairdo for Joe
I never thought I would have a baby with a Mohawk....BUT, I never thought that Joseph would be called "Joe" before he was one either. He's his own little man and he is in intent on showing everyone that even though he has two older brothers, and will soon have a younger brother- he has a huge personality that is all his own! The baby Mohawk just seems to suit him...
Joe has more spunk than I have ever seen in a person his size...he doesn't let the fact that he's much smaller than his brothers get in his way. I have literally seen him tackle Jacob (yes, I said JACOB- his four year old brother that wears a size 5 in clothes!) down to the floor and then sit on him. He is the only one with the guts to touch Joshua's "nap". And if one of the boys is starting trouble you can be just about guaranteed it's Joe.
But he is a sweetheart. I look forward to getting him up in the morning because I know I will be greeted with a huge hug and the sweetest, most slobbery kisses on the planet. And he looks at me in a way that makes me feel like I must be the most beautiful person in the world to him.

Jacob's First Soccer Practice
The first soccer practice didn't get started off exactly the way I would have hoped...we got an email telling us our first practice was in an hour and a half. Yikes! So after a mild panic attack and rushing around like a crazy person- we managed to get there on time.Jacob was a little overwhelmed (I think, just like me, he would have felt better if he'd had more time to prepare himself...) but he really had a great time. This was his first time doing anything like this- but I think it is something he is going to really enjoy.
I was amazed at how much actual skill they started teaching these little guys... I guess I didn't know what to really expect, but I thought there'd be a little more playing in the grass and needing shoes tied...But, they were all out there lining up and doing dribbling drills and learning to shoot goals...WOW.
I don't know if there could be too much cuter than Bitty Soccer!

Wordless Wednesday
I had a difficult time getting a good picture because of the rain on the window, so it is hard to see how BIG this deer is! It was there in the same spot, two days in a row! One of our neighbors said she is having the deer actually walk up the steps of their deck to eat tomatoes out of the pots! Wow.

Oh, Bear
Ok, so I heard Joshua up and playing after naptime, so I went upstairs to get him and found this lovely sight...his face covered in red glitter and he is wearing Jacob's church shoes and pushing a decorative doll carriage. And he says to me in his most serious voice, " I look like Daddy." It was all I could do to not fall over laughing.

Ridiculous, Silly Quizzes, But Oh So Fun
While I was waiting for the delivery man to arrive with our new washer and dryer, I sat and played around on Facebook for a while, and ended up taking a few too many quizzes, lol. It's hilarious, and a little scary how accurate some of them were. Of course, some are way off in left field, but some were pretty close. Either way, it was fun, and did help to pass the time.
