The Farm Exhibit

The boys favorite exhibit at the zoo is probably the Australian Farm where they can pet the sheep. The sheep are used to people feeding them, so they were quite interested in what was in the boys' candy baskets, LOL.

The Bear

All of the boys' costumes were adorable, but there was something extra special about seeing my little bear dressed up in a bear costume. His eyes lit up when he saw the package and he was just so excited to see himself.

There is nothing cuter than hearing him say, "It's a bear like me!" in his precious little voice.

I know one day he will grow up, but I really, really hope he will always be my "Bear".

Love,

Trick or Treating at the Zoo!

The zoo opened a new indoor exhibit this year- the Tropics! They had this super cool giant guinea pig (ok, I realize that it's not really a guinea pig but it looks just like one!)

Oh look- there's a puppy in that cave!

Mmmmm, chocolate!

The meercats are always one of our favorite exhibits. They are just so playful and cute...I think we could sit and watch them for hours!

Usually the tiger is hiding out inside of his log, but this time he was sitting there basking in the sun and it was a beautiful sight!

What could be better than the zoo AND candy????

It was an absolutely beautiful day and the perfect weather to spend the day at the zoo! We had a great time.

Headed to the Zoo!

That's it- we're taking these animals to the zoo where they belong!!!! hahahaha

Hugs.

Trunk r' Treat!

Hugs,

Craft Time

We really enjoyed the craft section of Trunk r' Treat (shocking, I'm sure, lol) We made paper plate Jack-o-lanterns.

Hugs,

Balloon Animals

The boys really liked watching the balloon man make neat animals and other things! Jacob wanted an airplane, Joshua wanted a ladybug (I don't know why but he is suddenly fascinated with them!), and Joseph got a bumble bee ("It's a Bumper Bee!" says Joshua.)

Hugs,

Dinner with Wild Animals!

Thursday was Trunk r' Treat at Daddy's work. It worked out well since Jamie also had a doctor's appointment that afternoon.

Jamie's appointment went well, and then afterwards we went in to say hi to all of Daddy's co-workers so that they could meet the new little one.

We had time between that and Trunk r' Treat so we decided to go have dinner. We must be either crazy or brave to take a gang of wild animals into a restaurant! I was not aware that bears, monkeys and dogs had such a liking for pancakes and chocolate milk!
